I scream! You scream!
We all scream for ice cream!!!

It certainly is one of my favorite things to eat whether it’s a dish, on a cone, or in a shake!

An ice cream treat will bring a smile to the face of any of our CSA’s Jesus Jesters. Just think what a delight it would be if any of these clowns won free ice cream for a year or was chosen to be on the tasting panel of an ice cream company!

This is exactly what the Velvet Ice Cream Company is offering for the person (or in our case--clown) who thought of the best new flavor of ice cream for them.

Go ahead and click on each clown’s picture to read all about the ideas for new flavors and the reason why each of them should be chosen for the tasting panel.

I think it would be great fun to create each of their flavors here at school and have our own tasting panel. If you think you should be on our tasting panel, perhaps you should let us know that and explain why?


	Many times clowns can touch the heart of someone no one else can reach. Please let us know of an individual or a group of people you would like us to reach out to as only clowns can do.




		Fishy

Ice cream-02 Fishy - Age 13

My new flavor for the Velvet Ice Cream Company would be Cream-of-War. My ice cream would be green but taste like French-Vanilla. It would have Skittles and sour gummy-worms mixed in. The aftertaste would be sour.

People would relish my ice cream because...well...WHO DOESN’T LIKE SKITTLES, FRENCH-VANILLA, AND GUMMY-WORMS blended together!?

I should be on the tasting panel because I have an excellent sense of taste!




		Now Found

Ice cream-02 Now Found - Age 14

My new flavor for Velvet Ice Cream is root beer. The only two ingredients are old-fashioned vanilla ice cream and root beer.

I think everyone will buy it because it is a completely new flavor. People will like it because most people like root beer floats!

I should be on the taste-testing panel because I have a good sense of taste, which would help me tell what ice cream tastes good and what doesn’t.




		Rascal


	Rascal - Age 14 My new flavor of ice cream would have Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, Snickers, and Kit Kats in it. It would have more Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups than the other two candy bars. These three candy bars are a big hit, so that’s why people would buy it! I would be the best one for the tasting panel because my taste buds would detect a delicious flavor--better then everyone else!




		Thoughtful

Ice cream-02 Thoughtful - Age 17

The new flavor of ice cream I want to create is Pineapple-Mango-Guava. It will be important to have an equal amount of chunks of these three healthy fruits to get the right flavor.

My ice cream has lots of vitamins, which makes it healthy and that’s why people will buy it.

I should be on the tasting panel because I love to try new foods and would know when I’ve found the very best one!

Ice cream-02 Luigi - Age 11

I have a new flavor for you called Nutty Chocolate-Covered Pretzel Ice Cream. The ice cream has chocolate covered pretzels with mint-flavored ice cream, nuts, and chocolate chips.

I’m positive people would buy it because it sounds like it would taste awesome! People love the combination of sweet and salty!

I should be on your tasting panel because my taste buds are good enough to sort the good ice cream from the bad!




		Mr. Nails

Ice cream-02 Mr. Nails - Age 10

My new flavor for your company is Sweet and Sour. The ice cream will be vanilla ice cream with whole Skittles and Shocker halves.

People would buy my ice cream because both kids and adults love Skittles and Shockers. The sweetness would come from the Skittles and the sourness from the Shockers.

I should be on the tasting panel because I really love ice cream! I have an outstanding tasting ability!
